Happy New Year

Of course I can't ever get a picture with my husband without him pulling a crazy face. It's to be expected now! :)
 Attempt #1
of course...failed because of KIT!
 Attempt #2
That's better!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I honestly don't even remember what we were laughing about, but I had to get a picture.
It was late and we were having so much fun!
Kyle & Jill
Now why can't I get a good picture like this one!! KIT!!?

New year's was fun! We had Kyle & Jill over. We ordered pizza and wings and played Monopoly. It was pretty chill and laid back but still lots of fun! The kidos watched movies and went to bed a little past there bedtime. :) We watched the ball drop and drank some yummy sparkling juice. Thanks guys for making that such a fun night!

Christmas 2011

Brigham & Miss Grace on Christmas Eve in there jammies.
Gracie was a little unsure with the presents. She didn't really know what to do. She was more interested in brother's stuff then her own.
She has played with her Nativity little people everyday! She loved it!
Thanks Grandpa & Nana Revell!
I had to get a picture of this before my parenting started...
He was SO excited to open this present that he went and got a sharp knife to open it. I realized what he was doing at the last minute. Kind of freaked me out! I guess he was just a little too excited!
She lost interest in brother's toys once hers were finally opened. She loves her baby!

Nerf gun from Dad! He loved it! I think Kit wants one now so they can play together! :)
Christmas morning we went over to Kyle and Jill's to do breakfast, church, and some more gift exchanging. The kids got each other presents this year. Briggs got a super cool transformer mask from Allie and Gracie got her walker. They both were way excited!!

 Our Family 2011.
It's so crazy to think we are going to be adding another sweet little girl to the mix here soon.
Merry Merry!!

This year was a bit different. It was our first Christmas away from my family. It wasn't the same that's for sure. I don't know if I liked it all that much too...it was just SO hard! Luckily we do have family here. It was great having Kyle and Jill here with us and spending the holidays with them and the kids. Thank you Kyle and Jill for making this Christmas still feel like a well spent Christmas with family. We love you guys and had a great time! We missed my family but it's just one more thing to look forward too next Christmas. Can't wait! We had a great holiday and made some awesome memories and traditions! We hope everyone had a great Christmas! xoxo

Gracie turned 1!

She had her first happy meal. She was totally down with the fries and chocolate milk.

Gracie turned 1 on December 27th. What a year it has been! It's gone by so fast! I can't believe that I have a big girl now, even though I still call her my baby. She's a happy girl with lots of attitude, loves to be vocal and for you to know that she is in the room, just recently got into girly toys. She loves her baby she got for Christmas. It's crazy how different girls are then boys! :) She's not quite walking yet but has taken a few steps. Her little walker Kyle and Jill got her for Christmas sure is helping. (thanks guys!) She loves to make messes. It's SO FRUSTRATING, because they are the annoying messes like, emptying my diaper bag, getting into the garbage and eating it, (i know, gross!) getting into my cupboards and pulling out all of my foil, baggies, and plastic wrap. Needless to say, she's a mess! But I have to say she's a pretty mess!

The Siharath's were in town for the holidays and threw a party for Caitlin, there daughter.
Caitlin and Gracie share the same birthday so it was fun getting together with everyone for a celebration! I think Miss Grace knew that it was a special day because every time you pulled out a camera she was all smiles!

Saturday we had a little party with some friends from our ward. It wasn't a huge deal but still something fun for her and the other kids. She didn't know what to think about the cupcake at first, but once she tried it she loved it!
 I love her cheesy smile!
 Happy Birthday sweet girl!
You can tell she just wanted to be left alone to eat her cupcake! :)

Thanks everyone for celebrating this special day with Miss Grace. We love you all!

Cookie Exhange Party 2011

For the past 5 years or so I got invited to an awesome Cookie Exchange Party every year. It was so much fun! You got to bake and bring cookies, shared all the recipes with everyone, and got to be with your girlfriends! This year I'm not in Oklahoma, so I decided to throw my own! It was a blast! I thought I took more pictures, but I guess I didn't. This will be a tradition that I will keep doing for a long time! (the cookies above won best display.)

Here are some pictures of all the girls that came...

I only got these 2 shots of some cookies. I don't know what I was thinking!
There were SO many amazing cookies! Thanks everyone who came and participated! I had a great time and hope you did too! xo

Hot Chocolate and Cookies for Breakfast

Gracie's first sugar cookie...and for breakfast too! :)

It didn't take her long to tear it apart and make a huge mess!
She downed it in no time and was fussing for more.
She's so stinkin' cute! I love how she knows that I'm taking a picture of her.

A few other things that Gracie did this morning that is her ALL time favorite thing to do, is get into my cupboards! She loves it, yet it's so annoying!

Gothcha ya! Little stinker! :)

Brigham asked me this morning if he could have hot coco for breakfast. I hesitated at first but it's Christmas time and it's freezing outside, so it seemed perfect! And of course he wanted a sugar cookie too! Christmas time is the perfect excuse for sweets right, even in the morning???!!

I love Christmas...

SANTA

We had our ward Christmas party last weekend and it was so great! Yummy food, mingling with friends, getting to know new faces, listening to the awesome talented people in our ward, but the most entertaining part of the evening was meeting Santa. Brigham was really excited. He told him that he wanted a LEGO table, lots of Star Wars and Ninja  LEGO's, and some cool cars.

Gracie on the other hand was not so happy.
The moment Kit put her down she totally freaked! Everyone was looking at me like I was a mean mom because I was cracking up and said, "WAIT WAIT! I WANT TO GET A PICTURE OF THIS!" It was well worth it I think. A funny memory that I won't forget!!! :)

The LEGO Party

This year Brigham asked if he could have a LEGO birthday party. He just recently got into LEGO's and building, so this theme seemed perfect. I got to work and started doing some fun research on LEGO parties and found SO MUCH STUFF!! I picked a few things that looked super fun and went with it. Briggs was getting really excited watching it all come together. Kit even got involved and made the super cool pin the face on the LEGO guy game. (picture shown above.) He was very proud of himself! :) And the kids loved it! The party had a few minor kinks but over everyone ended up having a great time!
